There are so many great summer themes. I love that you use so many during the summer. Today, I have some fun summer themed skip counting puzzles. <\/p>\n

These puzzles are great for hands-on learning for kids of different ages. They are great for building different types of learning skills.<\/p>\n

These puzzles are loads of fun. There are two sets of puzzles for kids to use. There are a vertical set and horizontal set. They all skip count by six 10 times on each puzzle. They go from 6 to 60 and 66 to 120.<\/p>\n

Skip counting works well into multiplication and division learning. You can use a skip counting to help kids learn or practice multiplication and division.<\/p>\n

I laminate<\/a>\"\" each of the puzzles and the blank board in the set. Since I have several sets of puzzles I have a blank board all set up. It makes it easier to reuse. I put putty<\/a>\"\" on the puzzles or the board. If we are just doing one puzzle, I do the puzzle pieces. <\/p>\n

If we are doing several puzzles, I do it on the blank board. This time I just did the blank board. You can see an example of it on the puzzles pieces here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

How we use these puzzles<\/h2>\n

First I start with the puzzles that start with 6. They put the puzzles together. I have them say the numbers as they put it together.<\/p>\n

After the puzzles are together I have them count the numbers on the puzzle. They point to the numbers on the puzzle as they say the numbers.<\/p>\n

Another fun activity I do is to put the puzzle together in the wrong order on the board and have them fix it.<\/p>\n
