<\/div>\nThe Fireworks Counting & Color Word Easy Reader Book is a great addition to the fourth of July printables<\/a>, new years printables<\/a>, and color printables<\/a> on the site.<\/p>\n Easy reader books are an easy way to great way to get learning tools into small hands. They can re-read them and call the book their own.<\/p>\n The Fireworks counting and color easy reader book are great for kids just starting out and working on color and number words. You can use this with kids in kindergarten (ages 5 to 6) and review for first grade (ages 6 to 7).<\/p>\n Each page of the firework easy reader book has a number word and a color word they are working on. The only expectation is the zero page. Since there are no fireworks to see.<\/p>\n You are going to have the following number words written out: zero, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, and ten.<\/p>\n You will find the following color words in the book: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, gray, brown, and white. <\/p>\n If kids don’t know their color words, you might want to color the fireworks in advance so they have a better chance of reading the color word. <\/p>\n You can also use the kindergarten desk help printable<\/a> with the color words.<\/p>\n We have included links to some of the products and resources we have used with this activity. I use scissors and a stapler.<\/p>\n You start by lining up the pages and cut down the middle of the book. You want to make sure you hold the pages steady while you cut.<\/p>\n You alternate the pages of the book. The odd pages are on the top and the even pages on the bottom. You have even and then odd until all the pages are sorted.<\/p>\n After you make sure all the pages of the book are lined up you staple the book on the left side. Then your easy reader book is ready to be used.<\/p>\n You are going to see a few ways we have use the firework color counting books with kids.<\/p>\n The first time through the firework counting and color word book, we underlines the color and the number we were working on. Then we colored the fireworks to match the sentences. <\/p>\n I keep a copy of colored pencils<\/a> by the book. The pencils have the color word on them to help kids match the correct color to the word.<\/p>\n After the book is all filled out we take time to go back and read it again. The second time I love making it hands-on. I give them 10 clear glass gems.<\/p>\n As they read the book they cover the fireworks with the glass gems.
