This is a great addition to the money printables<\/a> on the site.<\/p>\n Money is a type of currency that different countries use. Money comes in the form of coins and dollars.<\/p>\n These money printables focus on coins from the USA with penny, nickel, dime, quarter, 1 dollar, 5 dollars, 10 dollars, and 20 dollars.<\/p>\n There is a money help card for knowing what colors the coins are. I have them place a coin on the pages to help them remember.<\/p>\n You have 12 task cards that have different colors of circles on them. Each match to a coin. I went with color circles because the dime and the penny are so close in size. I recommend laminating<\/a> Then you have a recording worksheet that kids can record the total amount of the coins. It has the coins and their amounts in the book.<\/p>\n For the activity, you need several quarters. dimes, nickels, and pennies. You can use real coins or fake ones<\/a> with the set.<\/p>\n For younger kids, you can just do the coin matching activity. You show them what a quarter, dime, nickel and penny look like on the chart. Then match the coins on the task card. You can talk about the money amount while they are doing it.<\/p>\n For older kids, have them match the coins to the cards. This is a great way to sneak in fine motor skills, and they don’t think about it.<\/p>\n You have them count up the coins on the money task cards. Then have them record their answers on the money recording worksheet. <\/p>\n There are 12 spots to fill in their answers. If you have a child show is struggling, you can use the skip counting set cards<\/a> to help. They have skip counting by 25, 10 and 5. They can help them add up their coins.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/P><\/strong><\/p>\n Money Bookmarks for Coins and Dollars<\/a> has bookmarks for penny, nickel, dime, quarter, 1 dollar, 5 dollars, 10 dollars, and 20 dollars. You have examples of the name and amount of each money type.<\/p>\n Candy Coin Clip Cards<\/a> are fun clip cards that has a coin amount and you clip the coins around to match the amount. Plus shows several ways to use the coin clip cards.<\/p>\n Spring Coin Puzzle<\/a> has 12 coin amounts and matching puzzle pieces for each amount.
