If you purchase via the links we may earn a small commission.<\/em><\/p>\n I love water beads sensory bins because they are fun to play in and give different sensory input than other types of play. <\/p>\n We have been doing some space activities so I thought it would be fun to add a fun twist with stars and water beads.<\/p>\n They love just putting their arms up as high as they can go in the beads. They moved their hands all around in the bin. This is great for sensory seekers.<\/p>\n They love scooping up handfuls of the bead and stars and seeing how many star they have on top. Every scoop full is different. You could see the mix of the clear, blue and black beads.<\/p>\n Another fun activity we do is with a cup and some hands. They have a ramp for the water beads to run down. It is fun to watch the beads and stars bounce down the hands.<\/p>\n Another activity they love to do in the tweezers<\/a> The idea is to use the tweezers<\/a> If they are really good at this have them switch hands to build up strength in the other hand.<\/p>\n I challenged one of my older girls to try and pick up two beads, which is hard but she did do it!<\/p>\n We also had some fun seeing how many stars would stick to arms at one time. It was a blast. Some times it was a few and other times it was a lot! But it was fun to count and see what happened.<\/p>\n Sensory bins are loads of fun to play in at any age. Don’t limit yourself and think I can only do these with preschool or kindergarten.
