You can click here to subscribe<\/a> to get access to the page.<\/p>\n This is a great addition to the skip counting printables<\/a> and space printables<\/a> on the site.<\/p>\n Skip counting is working on adding the same number over and over. You have a pattern of adding or counting.<\/p>\n So if you skip counting by 2s, you have a pattern like 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and so forth. These patterns can be repeated for many numbers.<\/p>\n The most often numbers used are 2 through 12. And that is what these printables work on numbers 2 through 12 skip counting.<\/p>\n These space skip counting printables work on skip counting from 1 to 12. Each strip skip counting has forward or backward. This makes counting a lot more fun for the kids.<\/p>\n You can see examples of the rockets here counting forward. The numbers start at different points. I have laminated<\/a> The planets count backward. This allows them to change up their counting. You have two starting numbers to help figure out the pattern and three more numbers to fill in.<\/p>\n You can see a few ways we used these space skip counting strips.<\/p>\n These are simple to use. I like to keep all the numbers together. So I put them on rings so my girls can go through them easier. Plus, they are so much easier to store on the ring. You can then pull out the ring they need to work on.<\/p>\n You can have them point to each number on the skip counting strip as before they get the writing part. If they need help you can always pull ou the skip counting bookmarks<\/a> to help.<\/p>\n Then you have them write out the missing numbers. The rockets go forward and the planets go backward.
