\nWe read Chopsticks by Amy Krouse Rosenthal and Scott Magoon <\/a>\"\" for the Virtual Book Club<\/a>. The girls loved reading Chopsticks after having read Spoon.<\/p>\n

What you need: yarn, pom poms, chopsticks of various kinds, pick up sticks, containers and plates.<\/p>\n

We tried to use the chopsticks. They pulled them apart.<\/p>\n

I showed them how you hold chopsticks.<\/p>\n

They each tired to hold them.<\/p>\n

Then they worked on using them. We tried pompoms first. Part of the way through I broke out the learner chopsticks for Mary.<\/p>\n

Then we put yarn noodles on our plates and pretended to eat them.<\/p>\n

We tried to play pick up sticks. It did not work very well so they practices dropping them. Each had their own set to play with.<\/p>\n

Then they did their own pretend play with everything. It was lots of fun.<\/p>\n
