Scarecrows have been a fall theme<\/a> that I have not done a ton with, but I’m so excited to get more into it.<\/p>\n These skip counting books are simple and easy. They have a number on the right side they can color, matching crows on a scarecrow in groups of five and a repeat addition at the bottom of the page.<\/p>\n These are all the things we use the help make and create the books plus another other activities we did with the books. This is a simple and easy to use list so you know what we used.<\/p>\n We have included links to some of the products and resources we have used with this activity. If you purchase via the links we may earn a small commission.<\/em><\/p>\n One each of the pages you can count the crows on the scarecrow and see the groups of 5. So you can see that two groups of 5 are 10. And that 5 + 5 = 10.<\/p>\n Another fun way to use this book is on each page writing the numbers as they add up to the number on the page. This gives you a good visual of how the repeat addition works. If they need help with the numbers you can use the skip counting bookmarks<\/a> to help them do the repeat addition or write it on the book for them.<\/p>\n The last page of the book has all the skip counting numbers together that you can point to and read.
