Each has a different type of movement on them. Several of the ideas are from the book. It has climbing, being a rock, tiptoeing, wading the stream, jump on rocks across the stream and being quick and quiet like a mouse.<\/p>\n<p>All fun idea that can get kids moving. These are fun activities that you can do with or without the book. <\/p>\n<p>Gross motor should be fun. Below you can see how we did each of the movements on the cards.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Climb the hill:<\/strong> You pretend to climb up the hill or up the rope on the treehouse.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wade the stream:<\/strong> you pretend to wade through a fast stream.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Be still like a rock:<\/strong> You be small and still as you can be.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Be quick and quiet like a mouse:<\/strong> Be sneaky and quiet as you can while walking quickly around the room.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jump on the rocks to cross the river:<\/strong> Jump on the spots to cross the river.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tiptoe across the rope<\/strong> You tiptoe across the masking tape on the floor.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<img decoding=\"async\"  src=\"\/images\/blog\/11-2019\/ninja-gross-motor2.jpg\" alt=\"Free Ninja Themed Gross Motor with Ninja at Night - 6 fun movements for kids to get active and have fun with a few ideas from the book - 3Dinosaurs.com\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>If you want to have fun but don&#8217;t like to use the cards. There is a fun rolling sheet. You can roll a die and then do the movement.
