Gross motor has always been one activity we do a lot of. We really enjoy doing it. It has always been a great stress relief from school or just when we have too many wiggles.<\/p>\n

And we love doing books and gross motor. It is fun to read a book and then act out a part of it with the gross motor. It gets them into what we are reading and then they want to read again to do the movements again.<\/p>\n

I’m so excited to once again be apart of Rain Day Mums Christmas Advent. It is fun to have so many great activities together in one place. I loved doing posts every year.<\/p>\n

This gross motor activity can be found in full on her site. We just love having fun ideas to do and try.<\/p>\n

We have two picture books we love for the Nutcracker. They are The Nutcracker illustrated by Valeria Docampo<\/a>\"\" and The Nutcracker by Susan Jeffers<\/a>\"\".<\/p>\n

The movements we used are The Nutcracker, Mouse King, The Snow, The Sugarplum Fairy, and The Fairy dances.<\/p>\n
