Spring and flowers have always been a favorite for me! I love having activities for them.<\/p>\n

Every season brings new and fun ways to learn and I love having activities that mix in well with others.<\/p>\n

The Flower Skip Counting Mats is a great addition to the skip counting printables<\/a> and flower printables<\/a> on the site.<\/p>\n

What is Skip Counting?<\/h2>\n

Skip counting is counting by counting by adding a number each time. So if you are skip counting by 2. You count 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, etc. Each number goes up by 2 each time. That is how skip counting works. You have a starting number and how many you will count from the number.<\/p>\n

Skip counting<\/a> is a counting skill that starts early and works into multiplication and division.<\/p>\n

We are doing skip counting from 1 to 12 with these new mats. Each number has its own page with flowers for people to skip count on.<\/p>\n

You can see an example of one of the mats below. It is skip counting by 7 for 12 times. I recommend printing on cardstock<\/a>\"\" and laminating<\/a>\"\" the pages. They will last longer with use over time.<\/p>\n
