It makes it easy to switch out the different sets. The idea is to give them something different to do with their gross motor. This can be used for kids at home that need to get the wiggles out or kids at school for a fast break!<\/p>\n<p>I review what the movements are before we use the dice. This gives them a chance to ask questions and for me to make sure they have the movements. Plus they might have their own idea for how the movements should be done!<\/p>\n<p>I also check to make sure they have space around each other for the movements. I call it my \u201cspace check.\u201d If space is an issue, they might do a movement one at a time. We have done staggering on some movements.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Paper roll:<\/strong> They roll across the floor like a paper roll. This is great for a full-body depressure movement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Planting a Tree<\/strong> They pretend to have a shovel and dig the hole. This is great for cross-body movement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Push the Trash Out:<\/strong> This is a fun pretend movement to make them think about where their hands are and how they take out the trash.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Turn like the Earth<\/strong> Thay do a fun spinning movement. You can do arms in and arms out. We have always liked arms out. You can add speed and how many times they do the movement. Mix them up and have them turn over the gross motor they will do. You can also mix in other of the gross motor dice as well! <\/p>\n<p>My girls loving using the cube dice because they can throw them in the air!
