The Red White & Blue Star Paper Plate Wreath is a great addition to the wreath craft<\/a> and fourth of July crafts<\/a> on the site.<\/p>\n A wreath is a collection of items around a circle. It can be used as a seasonal decoration around a house.<\/p>\n I like having simple and easy crafts to do. And not everyone wants something complicated to when you are making a craft. That is why these wreaths are perfect. They work great for different age groups together.<\/p>\n Plus the glitter cardstock is loads of fun to use. I love the bright colors of the different sheets.<\/p>\n I love pairing crafts with a books and I have always loved the book Red, White, and Blue: The Story of the American Flag<\/a>. I is a simple book but great for learning about the flag and the colors.<\/p>\n These are all the items we used to make this craft.<\/p>\n We have included links to some of the products and resources we have used with this activity. If you purchase via the links we may earn a small commission<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n We started out by punch out a lot of stars. We did a mix of red, blue, and silver stars. We did three different sizes. It is fun to change things up and this was fun.<\/p>\n If you have smaller kids you could do that punching in advance, but I love letting them use the punch for the deep pressure sensory they get their hands.<\/p>\n You can punch until you have a collection of stars or do one at a time. We like to do all the punching first.<\/p>\n Then you place the stars around your wreath in the way you want. You can place and glue or place and then glue. It all depends on how you want to do it. We each had our own idea of how many stars to place and where to place them. I love flexible crafts like this.<\/p>\n I can also say that one of our glue bottles was not working so it was hard to share but we found the putting glue on the tiny stars with a q-tip<\/a> was easier to do!
