What is an r-controlled word?<\/h2>\n

It is a word where the vowel sound is changed and by the r that comes after the vowel. It is sometimes also called bossy r, because that r tells the vowel what it will sound like.<\/p>\n

You can see examples of r-controlled words in the wall cards<\/a>.<\/p>\n
