I love adding new craft projects to our ocean activities<\/a>. It is always fun to add something simple to do.<\/p>\n This is a great art project for any ocean or shark theme. You have a fun ocean scene with sharks swimming.<\/p>\n I love using cookie cutters<\/a> for painting activities. They can make life loads of fun and several ages can do the same project.<\/p>\n While my girls are older you can draw a line on the paper to help younger kids know where to paint the sky and the ocean.<\/p>\n First, the first thing we painted was the ocean. We used a darker blue for the color. It needs to be a different blue from the sky. We picked the darkest color the watercolor pallet had. We use a bigger brush than comes with the paint set to paint bigger areas easier.<\/p>\n Then we picked a very light blue for the sky. We covered the rest of the paper in the light color. One reason I like doing the lighter color lasts is that it can overlap the ocean color and still look okay.<\/p>\n Next, we mixed some black and white paint to make gray.
