\nWe read The Birds of Bethlehem by Tomie dePaola <\/a>\"\" for the Virtual Book Club<\/a>. This is a new book that just came out by Tomie dePaola. We made our own birds to watch over our Christmas this year.<\/p>\n

What you need: tissue paper of various colors, bird pattern on wax paper cut out, and glue.<\/p>\n

They put the glue on their birds.<\/p>\n

They each picked out a color to use for their pair of birds and then put the tissue paper on the birds.<\/p>\n

We hung the birds in the window to watch over our Christmas!<\/p>\n
