And we love doing crafts with pumpkins. You can use one color of green and mix different colors of green. It is fun to do a mix of colors. We did a mix of light and dark colors to give it a unique feel. I also like that when you don&#8217;t use a lot of water with watercolors the paper is ready quickly for the next step.<\/p>\n<div align=\"Center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/blog\/10-2020\/pumpkin-watercolor-paint4.jpg\"  alt=\"Pumpkin Patch Watercolor and Paint for Kids - is a great mix art project for kids to paint with cookie cutters - 3Dinosaurs.com\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Next, we pulled out the two sizes of pumpkin cookie cutters. We used a cotton ball in a clothespin for our brush. This gave the pumpkins a fun texture. You hold the cookie cutter in place and then paint inside leaving the stem part not colored.<\/p>\n<div align=\"Center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/blog\/10-2020\/pumpkin-watercolor-paint5.jpg\"  alt=\"Pumpkin Patch Watercolor and Paint for Kids - is a great mix art project for kids to paint with cookie cutters - 3Dinosaurs.com\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>We then painted the stem of the pumpkin with a q-tip. You can paint as many or as few as you want on the paper.
