It can be found in the space section.<\/p>\n These are a great addition to the space printables<\/a> and sight word printables<\/a> on the site.<\/p>\n Sight words are words you learn to memorize for reading and writing.<\/p>\n By learning to know sight words at a glance it helps kids with their reading and writing when you add in words that you can sound out.<\/p>\n A lot of common sight words are and, the, said.<\/p>\n The star sight word matching puzzles are going to have kids match the same word. It is a fun way to work on sight words. There are twelve puzzles on one page.<\/p>\n When they are cut out they are just two pieces. You can see two examples of the puzzles below. I printed out puzzles on stardust cardstock<\/a> There are all the items we use with this printable. It gives you an easy list to use to find the items on Amazon and on my site.<\/p>\n You can just match the puzzles. You can set up the top and bottom on different sides and have them match the puzzles. It is simple and easy to do.<\/p>\n You can also put a set of puzzles on rings. Then have them flip through the words to find the matching words. You could also have them write the words. <\/p>\n Another fun way to do these puzzles is in a sensory bin! You can mix in different spae items with the cards. We used rocks for the base and put the sight word puzzle pieces in the bin. We have also used rice for the base to make it easier for the cards.<\/p>\n Then they can pull out the sight words to match. Super fun and easy to set up and do.<\/p>\n Then they can place the puzzles they have matched on the side.<\/p>\n After you finish matching the puzzles you can do some other fun space sight word activities. You could use the Space Sight Word Color, Trace and Find<\/a>. You can give them sheets to match the puzzles you are using.<\/p>\nWhat are sight words?<\/h2>\n
