There are many different textures that they could explore: soft, hard, squishy, and slippery.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/blog\/12-2012\/hanukkahsensorybin2.jpg\" alt=\"Hanukkah Sensory Bin\"><\/div>\n<p>They did the puzzle and named the pieces. It is a good way to build vocabulary that they might not always use.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.3dinosaurs.com\/images\/blog\/12-2012\/hanukkahsensorybin3.jpg\" alt=\"Hanukkah Sensory Bin\"><\/div>\n<p>They pulled out the nine candles from the bin. We talked about why there at 9 candles and not just eight. This was a great building up on numbers and to see how the candles go up each day.
