If you purchase via the links we may earn a small commission<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n This is a great addition to the Halloween printable<\/a> and shape printable<\/a> on the site.<\/p>\n There are nine shapes in the bat and moon easy reader book: circle, square, rectangle, triangle, oval, rhombus, heart, star, crescent.<\/p>\n Each page in the book has a moon shape to trace with a bat and a simple sentence.<\/p>\n I always get asked for what I use with the printables. And here is a list of the items we have used or suggest in the post.<\/p>\n These are the simple steps to make the shape easy reader book.<\/p>\n You print bat shape easy reader book. You then line up the pages and cut the middle. You want to make sure that all the pages from the book are lined up when you cut. <\/p>\n If you have issues holding the pages and cutting the easy reader book, then use a paper binder clip to hold the pages.<\/p>\n Then alternate the pages of the book. The odd pages are on the top and the even pages on the bottom. You sort them every other page from the top and bottom piles.<\/p>\n Then you finally staple the book on the left-hand side. You can see the space left for stapling. <\/p>\n You want to use three of four staples to make sure the book stays together.<\/p>\n You can trace the shape on the page the first time you read the page. You could also have them trace with their finger the first time. <\/p>\n If you have older kids, you might want them to trace the shape and color the page.
