You will find it in the ABC section<\/strong> on the subscriber freebie page. <\/p>\n The Candy Themed ABC Puzzle Printable is an excellent addition to the Candy Printables<\/a> on the site.<\/p>\n A matching puzzle is where you have an items on the mat that matches something on the puzzle piece. These can vary in the different ways that you can use them.<\/p>\n You can see the two parts of the ABC puzzle. You have the ABC mat and the puzzle pieces. You want to make sure to print these on cardstock<\/a> You can see how the piece match. Kids are looking for the white letter on the page to match to the ABC mat.<\/p>\n You are going to see the steps below we did in preparing the puzzle.<\/p>\n You want to make sure to laminate both parts of the puzzle to start with. You can see above that we laminated the puzzle before cutting it out. A lot of people say the other way works better. But I like cutting after laminating.<\/p>\n Then you are going to want to cut up the alphabet puzzle pieces. You can see the letters and the puzzle pieces clearly and it makes learning fun.<\/p>\n You can prepare the puzzle mat in many different ways but wall putty<\/a> works great to puzzles in the place without much noise. You can see that I put a small amount on the corner on each place on the puzzle.<\/p>\n You can see the puzzle stays in place as it is standing on the side.<\/p>\n You can see a few ways to use it and ideas to do with the puzzle.<\/p>\n You can set up the puzzle mat on one side and puzzle pieces on the other side. If you are worried about the puzzle pieces getting lose you can put them in a small basket.<\/p>\n You can start by having them say all the letters on the mat. It is a great letter recognition activity for kids.<\/p>\n After you have the puzzle set up you can let kids build the ABC puzzle.<\/p>\n You can see the finished puzzle below. You have al the pieces that match together to make the puzzle.
