You will find it in the vowel team section<\/strong> on the subscriber freebie page. <\/p>\n This is a great addition to the vowel team printables<\/a> on the site.<\/p>\n Vowel teams are two vowels that work to make one sound.<\/p>\n These are words like rain, mail, fruit, and seed.<\/p>\n The common vowel teams are: ai, ay, ea, ee, ie, oa, oe, ue, and UI.<\/p>\n You have two sets of cards a picture of a word with a vowel team and then a written word for them to find.<\/p>\n You are going to find the following vowel team matching cards: These are just a few of the items that we use with these vowel team matching cards. You can see how some of these were used below.<\/p>\n These are just a few ways to use the vowel team matching cards.<\/p>\n You can make this a matching game with the cards. You have pictures on one side and words on the other side. Then you can have them said the words for each of the pictures and cards. Then matching the vowel team that match.<\/p>\n You can see one of the matches here. It is a simple way to match and then have them say the words and the point out the vowel team in the word.<\/p>\n You can also just give them a stack of cards and have them match the cards in a table top pocket chart. These are super fun to use with matching cards.<\/p>\n You can put the vowel team cards on rings. Then have kids flip through the cards and make the matches. You can also have kids write the matches. You can grab some blank paper here<\/a> for writing.<\/p>\n You can also have kids work on just finding the vowel team on the written word.
