You have two prewriting tracing printables with tracing the outside of the snowflake and inside the snowflake.<\/p>\n You also have a snowflake template for kids to use for crafts and a playdough mat. This is a great way to work on fine motor skills with the small items and place them in the circles on the snowflake.<\/p>\n If you plan on using it for a fine motor mat with small items I recommend printing the snowflake on cardstock to help it last longer. And yes you could use color cardstock<\/a> You can also just use the dot marker to do the snowflake. You could use the glass gems first and then dot marker the snowflake. This is a great tot and preschool age fine motor activity.<\/p>\n You can do best for what works best for the kids.<\/p>\n Both of the tracing printables are shown below with tracing so they can be reused. It is a great open snowflake that allows you to be creative with the fine motor activity.<\/p>\n You can use any type of small items to fill in the inside of the snowflake. You can see how we used clear counters<\/a> You could use LEGOs<\/a>, unifix cube<\/a>, small counters or any other small items you have.<\/p>\n You can make the snowflake template into a playdough mat.
