Each of the colors represents the colors from the five continents. But the colors are not linked to certain continents. <\/p>\n The five continents and colors are blue for Europe, yellow for Asia, black for Africa, green for Oceania, and red for Americas.<\/p>\n The Paper Roll Olympic Rings Painting is painting the Olympic rings with paper rolls. A fun activity to explore the different colors and where the rings are the Olympic Flag.<\/p>\n Plus you can make the Olympic flag with the paper, paper rolls, and 5 colors of paints.<\/p>\n You can read G is for Gold Medal: An Olympics Alphabet (Sports Alphabet)<\/a>. You can read about it there.<\/p>\n You can see all the steps below we used to make the Olympic rings painting.<\/p>\n We used a 12 x 18 paper for this. We also used a small circle cookie cutter in the set of cookie cutters that we have. We traced the outside of the cookie cutter. You have three rings on the top and two on the bottom for the Olympic Flag rings.<\/p>\n You could trace the inside. If you have younger kids you might want to have the circles on the paper. <\/p>\n If you have older kids have them trace the circles!<\/p>\n You put the paint in a tray or on a paper plate and make sure you have enough paint to get the whole edge of the paper roll in the paint.<\/p>\n You can see we used a paper plate this time. We have lids from old bowls that we have used as well.<\/p>\n Then stamp the paint around the circle on the paper. You can find a picture of the Ring is the Summer Olympic Pack<\/a>.<\/p>\n They can stamp as many or as few as they want around the ring. Don’t set a limit on the number of times they stamp. And if they are younger it is totally okay if the paper roll goes all over the paper!<\/p>\n Then repeat the process for all the colors on the flag. Remember this is a fun project and if they are younger and get bored then don’t worry about it.
