It is fun to change up how you work on CVCe words. This is a simple bird themed printable with a break the code printable that works on learning CVCe words.<\/p>\n

What are CVCE words?<\/h2>\n

CVCE words are work that has the silent e at the end. I have also heard them called \u201cmagic e words\u201d. They are Consonant Vowel Consonant E words.<\/p>\n

So that you will find words like mine or hike are CVCe words. The e at the end of the words makes the vowel in the CVCe words a long vowel sound.<\/p>\n

A few CVCe words examples are lake, pine, bone, and mule.<\/p>\n
