You have red table scatters, blue scatters, and rice for the colors. <\/p>\n You can have a blast with this fourth of July sensory bin and just enjoy playing.<\/p>\n You can work in to what the different parts of the colors of the American flag mean.<\/p>\n And using the sensory bin you can work on the different means in the sensory bin as you play.<\/p>\n There is never a right or wrong way to use a sensory bin. They are just a fun way to do a sensory activity in a box. So keep that in mind.<\/p>\n But you can see a few ways that we have used them.<\/p>\n One of our favorite parts is that you can just play in the sensory bin. there is no right or wrong way to use the sensory bin.<\/p>\n You can add a cup and scoop and poor.<\/p>\n You can run fingers through the rice and table scatters.<\/p>\n You can let kids be creative on their own. <\/p>\n And most important don’t think sensory bins are just for little kids. You can use them for older kids as well.<\/p>\n If you are looking for a few activities you can try then sorting colors is a great idea. <\/p>\n You can have them count the gems as they pull them out.<\/p>\n If you want to use part of the sensory bin to work on other skills you can.<\/p>\n You can make shapes out of the gems. YOu have them clear an area in the middle and then make the shape out of the blue and red.<\/p>\n You can give them examples of shapes to make with shape cards<\/a> or let them make the shape on their own.<\/p>\n You can do the same above with numbers and letters. You can tell them a letter and ask for uppercase or lowercase letters. And then make numbers as well.<\/p>\n You can find alphabet cards<\/a> and number cards<\/a> to help with this as well.<\/p>\n If you have older kids you can use the bin as well.
