They can re-read them and call the book their own.<\/p>\n The months of the year are January, February, March. April, May, June. July, August, September, November, and December. They are the 12 months that make up a year.<\/p>\n The months of the year easy reader book works on learning the months of the year and what months come before and after the month.<\/p>\n You have a space to read the words, trace the words and write the word, with a sentence below about where the month falls in the order.<\/p>\n Plus, a child is holding a sign with the month of the year on it.<\/p>\n The book starts with January and goes through December in the order of the months of the year words.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/strong><\/p>\n I always get asked how I make easy reader books. Here are the simple steps that I use to make the books. I use scissors and a stapler.<\/p>\n You start by lining up the pages and cutting down the middle of the book. You want to make sure you hold the pages steady while you cut.<\/p>\n You alternate the pages of the book. The odd pages are on the top and the even pages on the bottom. You have even and then odd until all the pages are sorted.<\/p>\n After you make sure all the pages of the book are lined up, staple the book on the left side. Then your easy reader book is ready to be used.<\/p>\n You will see a few suggestions on using this months of the year easy reader book.<\/p>\n You can start off by reviewing each of the months of the year in the book. You can read the sentences together or in small groups. You could have kids find and underline the month of the year they are working on in the sentence.<\/p>\n Reading the sentences will help kids learn what months come before and what comes after each month.<\/p>\n You can trace the months of the year in the book. If you have someone struggling with writing, give them a pencil grip<\/a> to help them better hold the pencil.<\/p>\n You can see how you can trace only the words and find the word in the sentence below. You can use markers<\/a> to help the words stand out more on the page.<\/p>\n You can see we traced March and underlined March in the sentence. You can also trace one time in pencil and the next time in marker.<\/p>\n If you have a student that can trace and write, this is great practice for learning the word.
