And you can change up a few of these steps to meet your needs.<\/p>\n<h3>Step 1: Preparing to Paint the Wreath<\/h3>\n<p>After you have the center of the paper plate cut out you can throw it away or keep it to use as a help while painting the wreath.<\/p>\n<p>You keep it under where you are painting  to keep the table clear.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/blog\/8-2023\/apple-tree-wreath2.jpg\" alt=\"Apple Tree Wreath Craft for kids with paper plate, watercolor and apple punches to use to make this fun wreath for fall with a fun apple theme - 3Dinosaurs.com\" \/>\n<\/div>\n<h3>Step 2: Paint the Wreath<\/h3>\n<p>You use a green watercolor and paint the paper plate. You can paint the wreath dark or light. Using a dot marker is easier for some kids than painting. I really like to have kids do the punching with the craft punches. You start at the bottom of the wreath and paint up curved lines. You want to place the apples around the branches of the tree.
