They can re-read them and call the book their own.<\/p>\n The balloon counting book has 6 pages of printables with numbers 0 to 10. You can color the balloon, color the number words, and trace the number word. This is a great printable for preschool and kindergarten.<\/p>\n Or you can use it as a review for first grade for number words. I use scissors and a stapler.<\/p>\n You start by lining up the pages and cutting down the middle of the book. You want to make sure you hold the pages steady while you cut.<\/p>\n You alternate the pages of the book. The odd pages are on the top and the even pages on the bottom. You have even and then odd until all the pages are sorted.<\/p>\n After you make sure all the pages of the book are lined up, staple the book on the left side. Then your easy reader book is ready to be used.<\/p>\n You can use the book in many ways, but you will see a few fun ways to use this counting book.<\/p>\n The balloon number easy reader book is great for a learning center. You can tracing, coloring and counting all in one book.<\/p>\n You can give them the balloon counting book, a pencil<\/a> and crayons<\/a>. If kids have issues holding a pencil you can give them a pencil<\/a> and pencil grip<\/a> to help.<\/p>\n Before you color, and trace you can use the book for a hands on counting activity. You can use clear counters and place them on each balloon as count the balloons on the each page.<\/p>\n You can give them a lot of clear counters<\/a> or give them ten.<\/p>\n You can start by tracing the color word in pencil. This is an easy way to start. You trace the letters of the number word. You can say each letter as you trace the word. Then at the end say the number word to help kids associate the two together.<\/p>\n Coloring the number word next gives them another way to work on the same number but in a different way. You color each of the letters and then say the word again.<\/p>\n You can also trace the color word again if you did the first time in pencil. You use a crayon color of their choice and then trace the number word again.<\/p>\n Finally you can count and color the balloons on each page. You can do lots of colors.
