It has a slight shimmer that you can see after it is painted. Plus it is easy to cover the whole plate in an short amount of time.<\/p>\n You can dot the plate. You can also slider the dot marker around the plate. Both work great to paint the paper plate.<\/p>\n Next you want to punch out the circles. You press on the level to punch them out. You can do this in advance but it is a great to let kids do it. <\/p>\n You will need a lot of circles for the craft<\/p>\n We used a 1 1\/2 inch circle punch<\/a> You could use a 1 inch punch or a 2 inch punch for a change as well.<\/p>\n Next you glue the circles on the paper plate. You can use any glue that you want. <\/p>\n We found it works best with a liquid glue<\/a> rather than a glue stick<\/a>.<\/p>\n Once you start adding the circles, you keep gluing the circles on the paper plate. You want to fill up at least most of the plate, you can leave breaks between the circles.<\/p>\n You can put them in any order around the plate.<\/p>\n After the glitter ball is done shine a light on it to see how it shines!<\/p>\n – You could add the date of the new year to the craft.
