You have a single hand on the page and you have a version with 6 hands on the page. Each is great for fine motor skills.<\/p>\n The hand tracing printable has the hand in the middle for kids to trace the outline of the hand.<\/p>\n The hand q-tip worksheet has small circles for painting with a q-tip. The whole hand is filled with the small circles.<\/p>\n The hand dot marker printable has the hand worksheet filled with circles about the size of a dot marker. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/strong><\/p>\n Shades of People<\/a> by Shelley Rotner is a great book that shorts just how ma y different colors you will see. Plus you will see people in different setting. She also has a board book version called All Kinds of People<\/a><\/p>\n All People Are Beautiful<\/a> is a great book about diversity and acceptance in a colorful way. Each page is full the different types of colors, hair, sizes, and more. You will love to see all the different people and how beautiful they are.<\/p>\n Brown: The Many Shades of Love<\/a> is another great book that looks that the different shades you can find skin color. And has great watercolor pictures.<\/p>\n For a lot of the activities we use the colors of the word crayons<\/a>. They have 24 different colors for kids to use. You could also use the colors of the word markers<\/a> and colors of the word colored pencils<\/a>. <\/a><\/p>\n You will see a few ways to use these hand printables with kids.<\/p>\n Here are a few fun ways to use the Hand template printable.<\/p>\n You can use the colors of the word crayons<\/a> and color the hand. You can let kids pick the color they want to use. They are 24 to use.<\/p>\n You can also use the colors of the word crayons<\/a> and the 6 hands to color all the hands a different color. You can see slight differences in all the different shades<\/p>\n You put the page in a sheet protector<\/a> or laminate<\/a> it. <\/p>\n Then you can use playdough<\/a> to outline the hand or you can use it to fill in the hand.<\/p>\n IF you use the sheet protector option then you might want to print the hard on cardstock<\/a>.<\/p>\n We used the shades of me construction paper<\/a> to do a torn paper hand craft. You have five colors that you can use with kids. They can pick out the color they want to use. <\/p>\n You will see a few ways to use the hand tracing worksheet.<\/p>\n You can start off tracing the hand with a pencil<\/a>. You can use a pencil with a pencil grip<\/a> to help with those that have issues holding a pencil. <\/p>\n You can also use the colors of the word colored pencils<\/a> for the tracing.<\/p>\n You can use crayons to trace the hand after you have used the pencil. That lets you trace the hand outline twice. You can color in the hand after you trace the hand.<\/p>\n You can also reuse the hand tracing worksheet. You can put it in a fine motor center. You can put it in a sheet protector<\/a> or laminate<\/a> it. <\/p>\n Then you use dry erase markers<\/a> to trace the outline of the hand. That way you can use the page over and over.<\/p>\n You will see a few ways to use the hand dot marker printable.<\/p>\n You can use dot markers to do that hand. Do a Dot Markers<\/a> have a wide range of colors. You can pick those close to hand colors or just use any color you want.<\/p>\n We use a coral color dot marker below.<\/p>\n You can reuse the dot marker page. You can use clear counters or glass gems. There are several colors of glass gems.<\/p>\n But the rainbow colors of the clear counters<\/a> are also fun. You can see the clear counters below.<\/p>\n You will see a few ways to use the cotton swab worksheet.<\/p>\n You can use q-tips<\/a> and washable paints<\/a> in a paint tray<\/a> and paint the dots on the hand. This is a great for fine motor. You can use the different paints to mix and make different skin tones.<\/p>\n This would be a fun paint mixing activity for kids as well.
