<\/div>\nThe Hand Counting Book is a great addition to the counting book printables<\/a> on the site.<\/p>\n This is part of my subscriber library. You can subscribe to the newsletter<\/a> and get access to the password there. You will find it in the counting section on the subscriber freebie page. <\/p>\n Easy reader books are an easy way to great way to get learning tools into small hands. They can re-read them and call the book their own.<\/p>\n The hand counting book has counting for numbers 0 to 10. Each page has hands with matching figures for each number that count up to 10 for kids to count.<\/p>\n There is a simple sentence that includes the sight words: I, see. Plus, you have handwriting for each number on the page.<\/p>\n The hand counting book is for kids in PreK (ages 4 to 5) and kindergarten (ages 5 to 6).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/strong><\/p>\n I always get asked how I make the easy reader books. Here are the simple steps that I use to make the books. I use scissors and a stapler.<\/p>\n You start by lining up the pages and cutting down the middle of the book. You want to make sure you hold the pages steady while you cut.<\/p>\n You alternate the pages of the book. The odd pages are on the top and the even pages on the bottom. You have even and then odd until all the pages are sorted.<\/p>\n After you make sure all the pages of the book are lined up, staple the book on the left side. Then your easy reader book is ready to be used.<\/p>\n The counting book is made and ready to be used!<\/p>\n You will see some suggestions on how to use the hand counting book. We also used the colors of the word crayons<\/a> with the book.<\/p>\n You can start off by reading together and counting the dragons. This is great for kids who are just starting out learning to read and counting. Plus they can mirror the fingers in the book as well.<\/p>\n You can trace the number on the page. You can do this with pencil and then crayon or markers or any tracing you want. The tracing of the number adds a little handwriting to the counting book.<\/p>\n You can color and count the fingers on the hand. You can also talk about how you can make your fingers match the page.<\/p>\n You can read the sentence and underline the number word in the sentence.<\/p>\n This adds a little reading into working on numbers. You see how the number word could be used in a sentence.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/strong><\/p>\n Dinosaur Number Counting Book<\/a> has different dinosaur themes to count. You have a different dinosaur theme on each page and count from 0 to 10.<\/p>\n Dragon Counting Easy Reader Book<\/a> is a great counting book with different dragons on each page. You have numbers from 0 to 10 in the dragon counting book.<\/p>\n Summer Kids Counting Easy Reader Book<\/a> has kids doing summer activities with counting and tracing the number. You have a a different kid on each page.<\/p>\n Pencil Counting Book with Chart<\/a> has a fun chart to follow along with your book.
