<\/div>\nThe Digraph Easy Reader Book Printables is a great addition to the digraph printables<\/a> on the site.<\/p>\n The Digraph Easy Reader Books are part of my subscriber library. You can subscribe to the newsletter<\/a> and get access to the password there. You will find it in the digraph section on the subscriber freebie page. <\/p>\n A digraph is two letters together that make one sound. Digraphs can be made up of vowels or consonants.<\/p>\n Some examples of consonant digraphs would be ch-, -ch, -ck, gh, kn-, ph, qu-, sh-, -sh, th-, -th, and wh-.<\/p>\n Yo have two digraph books. You have a beginning digraph book and and ending digraph book. Each book will have the digraph letters, a matching picture and a sentence about the digraph and word.<\/p>\n These digraph books work great for kindergarten (ages 5 to 6) and first grade (ages 6 to 7).<\/p>\n The beginning digraph book has the following digraphs: ch- kn-, ph-, qu-, sh-, th-, and wh-.<\/p>\n The beginning digraph has the letters at the start of the sentence and the word for the picture at the end.<\/p>\n The ending digraph book has the following digraphs: -ch, -ck, -sh, and -th.<\/p>\n The beginning digraph has the word at the start of the sentence and the digraphletters at the end.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/strong><\/p>\n We have included links to some of the products and resources we have used with this activity. I use scissors and a stapler.<\/p>\n You start by lining up the pages and cutting down the middle of the book. You want to make sure you hold the pages steady while you cut.<\/p>\n You alternate the pages of the book. The odd pages are on the top and the even pages on the bottom. You have even and then odd until all the pages are sorted.<\/p>\n After you make sure all the pages of the book are lined up, staple the book on the left side. Then your easy reader book is ready to be used.<\/p>\n Now you are ready to use the fun digraph book.<\/p>\n You will see some suggestion on how to use the digraph easy reder book printables below.<\/p>\n You can start off by reading the ending blends book together if this is their first time learning ending blends.<\/p>\n It can also be a great review book for kids who have learned their digraphs.<\/p>\n You can read through the book and underline the digraphs in the sentence.<\/p>\n You can see we underlined the QU and the qu in queen. this helps kids see the digraph in the word and learn to recognize them when they see the digraph with other letters of words.<\/p>\n Another great digraph printable to use with these books is the digraph coloring pages<\/a>. And the picture on the wall card has a matching digraph written out.<\/p>\n Digraph Matching Cards<\/a> have matching digraph picture with a word that has the same digraph. <\/p>\n Digraph Word Ladders<\/a> are great for building words. They have the digraph and the vowels.<\/p>\n Digraph Trace, Find & Color<\/a> has three or four digraph words to trace and then find and color the matching word.
