Here are the simple steps that I use to make the books. I use scissors and a stapler.<\/p>\n You start by lining up the pages and cutting down the middle of the book. You want to make sure you hold the pages steady while you cut.<\/p>\n You alternate the pages of the book. The odd pages are on the top and the even pages on the bottom. You have even and then odd until all A pages are sorted.<\/p>\n After you make sure all the pages of the book are lined up, staple the book on the left side. Then your easy reader book is ready to be used.<\/p>\n Now you are ready to use your fun Is that A Troll Easy Reader book!<\/p>\n You will see a few ways we have used this fun easy reader book for learning.<\/p>\n Each page is going to have an oll word that is not the troll. That is the last page. You can have fun talking about why each item is not the troll on the bridge for the story.<\/p>\n Plus it has you looking for certain word ending while reading the book.<\/p>\n At the end of the book you find the troll on the bridge. It is a simple change for a story of looking for the troll on the bridge and finding other things instead of the troll.<\/p>\n A fun change that some kids will enjoy and laugh about.<\/p>\n You can have some fun working on -oll words. You can use the CVCC word ladders<\/a> with the oll ending. <\/p>\n Then you can use lacing letters<\/a> to build the words in the book. You can also use CVCC wall cards<\/a> to find other OLL words to build. It is a great way to add a hands-on learning activity with the book.<\/p>\n You can also work on the sight words in the book.
