<\/div>\nThe Circle Wreath Craft with Scrapbook Paper is a great addition to the shape crafts<\/a> and the wreath crafts<\/a> on the site.<\/p>\n A wreath is a collection of items around a circle. It can be used as a seasonal decoration around a house.<\/p>\n This is a fun shape wreath made with left over scrapbook paper from other projects. You use circles of different sizes to make the colorful wreath.<\/p>\n You can use any type of paper and mix and match the papers as well.<\/p>\n This is a great circle craft for kids in preschool (ages 3 to 4), prek (ages 4 to 5), and kindergarten (ages 5 to 6).<\/p>\n The Dot<\/a> is a great circle book to read. And it goes great with Dot Day. And adds something fun to reading this painting activity for kids. And this can be done all at once or in stages. We normally do it before we start a craft and punch more if we need some later.<\/p>\n You can have kids punch the circles. It great for them to look observe and see how punches work. You can do one page at a time. Or 3 scrapbook papers at a time.<\/p>\n You can see how the circle we made look. You can see it matches the shape and it is fun to see the different sizes. And just keep going. You will need several circles for the circle wreath.<\/p>\n You can see below some of the circles that we punches out And we have several pages in each stack so that we have a few colors. And yes we have had a lot of left over scrapbook paper over the years.<\/p>\n Next comes gluing the circles on the wreath. And yes we started with the biggest circle that we had. You want to place several of them around the wreath. <\/p>\n And maybe mix up a few colors of the circles as well.<\/p>\n Then you are going to do the middle size of the circles. They are going to cover more open areas and they will also overlap with some of the big circles. <\/p>\n It is fun to see how the circles overlap and makes a fun wreath.<\/p>\n Finally, you are going to put on the smallest circles you punched out. You can see we have them overlapping the two sizes are bigger. And it is okay if you only glue a few circles on at each step.
