We did the all the green painting at one time.<\/p>\n We started with some stems and then worked on the grass below. Let kids decide if they do smaller green of just green for the flowers. Either is okay. We did a lot of painting for the green color but you don’t have to do that.<\/p>\n You are going to place the cookie cutter at the top of the green stems. You can over lap the green that is okay. We use a circle cookie cutter that had bumps to make the flower have a little shape that is not just circle.<\/p>\n You are going to hold onto the cookie cutter. You can hold on the outside or on the top. Do what is best for the kids doing the painting.<\/p>\n Then you are going to paint the whole inside of the circle.<\/p>\n You are going to life off the cookie cutter and see the circle shape for the poppy on the top of the stem.<\/p>\n It is okay if the circle is not complete painted. That will happen and it is okay to leave it. But only kids can paint it in if they want. You can be the judge if your<\/p>\n You are going to keep painting circles with the red cookie cutter. You are going to do as many circles as you have stems.<\/p>\n You can overlap circles when you are painting. It is a fun way to show the flowers in a field.<\/p>\n We used a q-tip and black paint to paint the inside of the poppies. This is simple to do and can be done on a wet watercolor painting.<\/p>\n You are going to want to dot a few times in the center of each of the red circles.
