And these are super fun for kids. And these are ideas that we have done with the fine motor mats.<\/p>\n We love the templates because you are can use them so many ways. But I like to show a few popular ones.<\/p>\n Yes this works great as a simple coloring page. And kids love making the flowers their own. You can use crayons<\/a>, markers<\/a> or colored pencils<\/a>. You could even use watercolors.<\/p>\n You can see how we used crayons below.<\/p>\n You can use torn paper to make a torn paper poinsettia with the template. Kids will tear the construction paper<\/a> and glue the paper on the flower. They look great when kids are done making the poinsettia.<\/p>\n You will see a few ways to use the tracing poinsettia worksheet.<\/p>\n You can set up a fine motor set for kids with the poinsettia. You give them the page and pencil<\/a> to trace all the lines. If they struggle to hold the pencil use a pencil grip<\/a> to help.<\/p>\n You can do this over several days for younger kids and one sitting for older kids. You can use the original set of dot markers<\/a> or use some of the shimmer and glitter version.<\/p>\n The flower turns out great and kids love use them.<\/p>\n You can also reuse these pages. Glass gems are a great way to make the flowers. You use red, green and yellow. Kids then match all the circles with thr corrector colors. OR just have them put the gems on the circles for working on fine motor skills.<\/p>\n You are going to see a few ways we have used the poinsettia q-tip page.<\/p>\n You can set up a painting center for the poinsettia. You use cotton swabs, paints ( or glitter paints), and a paint tray and paint away on the flower. It is great fine motor to dot all the circles.<\/p>\n I know that not everyone is ready for q-tip and the mini dot markers are great for that. They have a smaller head and match the circles. We love using them on dot marker pages.
