You have a disco ball template, disco ball tracing mats, disco ball dot marker page, and disco ball cotton swab page.<\/p>\n These provide different ways to work on fine motor skills with kids. And you can use the page that works best for you.<\/p>\n The disco ball fine motor mats are great for tot (ages 2 to 3), preschool (ages 3 to 4), prek (ages 4 to 5), and kindergarten (ages 5 to 6).<\/p>\n The disco ball template has a circle with lines vertical and horizontal to make the disco ball. You have several lines each way for the template.<\/p>\n You have the same disco ball lines for the template but this are tracing lines. Kids can trace the lines for a fine motor prewriting change.<\/p>\n The disco ball cotton swab page has the same lines as the template but you have small dots on the disco ball that kids can dot with a cotton swab.<\/p>\n The disco ball dot marker page has fewer lines than the template but has space enough dot a circle in the space between the lines. A fun way to work in this easy reader book with the story.<\/p>\n You will see a few suggestions on how to use the disco ball fine motor mats. These are just a few ideas and some we do often.<\/p>\n You are going to see a few ways we have used the disco ball template page.<\/p>\n You can have a lot of fun just coloring the disco ball. You can see we used LOTS of different colors. But younger kids can just just one color and that is okay.<\/p>\n You could use colored pencils<\/a>, markers<\/a> or crayons<\/a>. You could challenge older kids to color the disco ball with shading to make it look more 3D.<\/p>\n Another fun idea that we do a lot is use the template page for a template for a torn paper craft. You could challenge kids to tear up paper the glue it on the ball. You could use glitter paper<\/a> to make it glitter.<\/p>\n You are going to see a few ways to use the disco ball tracing page.<\/p>\n This fun disco ball is great for a tracing center. You can see we put a pencil<\/a> on the page, but you could trace the lines with crayons or markers.<\/p>\n You can trace the ball all at one time or break it up into different days. Do what works best for the age of the child using the page. This is great fine motor pencil work that does not feel like tracing the same lines over and over.<\/p>\n You can also reuse the tracing page in a fine motor center. You can see we put the page in a sheet protector<\/a>. Then we used a dry erase marker<\/a> to trace the lines. You can use the marker that works best for the kids tracing the lines. And remember you can do this over a few days or all at once.<\/p>\n Another fun challenge for older kids is to change up how we use the tracing page. You can give them q-tip and paints to trace the lines with the q-tips<\/a>. This changes up the fine motor they are doing and makes it loads of fun to trace lines, without feeling link they are working on fine motor. Because painting is fun to a lot of kids.<\/p>\n You are going to see a few ways to use the disco dot marker page. And these are just a few ideas.<\/p>\n Well since this is a dot marker page, use dot markers on it! You can see how we used two different colors of dot markers to dot the disco ball. We used some of the shimmer dot markers<\/a> to make the page shine.<\/p>\n You can also reuse the disco ball dot marker pages. We do this often before using the dot markers. You can use this idea one day and the dot marker the next day.<\/p>\n We used glass gems<\/a> to place on the circles. You can see how well they fit on the page.<\/p>\n We used the clear glass gems<\/a> but you could use any color you want.<\/p>\n You are going to see a few ways we used the disco ball or countdown ball cotton swab page.<\/p>\n You can see we had loads of fun and used glitter paint<\/a> on a paint tray<\/a> and q-tip<\/a> to paint the ball. We did a change of every one row a different colors. But you can paint them all way you want and with a mix of types of paint.<\/p>\n You can also use the dot marker mini<\/a> on the disco ball. We have loads of fun with these.
