You could use any size of heart punch you have And you could just use one heart size.<\/p>\n You can see the steps below that we used to make the Black History Month Heart wreath craft.<\/p>\n You are going to start with punching out the hearts to go around the wreath. You can punch out both sizes of hearts. We used all the different colors from the shades of me construction paper<\/a>.<\/p>\n Let kids do the punching of the hearts. It is great for depress for the punching. And makes them part of the process. <\/p>\n Doing the heart punches before for really young kids. You can turn the punch upside down and punch. This allows you to see the paper better and get punches closer together.<\/p>\n Here is a look at the hearts that we punched out. You can see the different colors and size of the hearts. You could use either size of hearts or any heart punch you have as well.<\/p>\n Next you are going to put glue on the paper plate. You can do this one heart at a time. This saves on glue and helps kids place the hearts easier. <\/p>\n Next you will place the heart on the paper plate. Super simple and easy for kids. You will want to start with the bigger hearts first.<\/p>\n You are going to repeat step two and three with gluing and placing the hearts. You will want to do the bigger hearts first and then work toward the smaller hearts. <\/p>\n It makes it easier to use the small hearts as an accent for the larger hearts.
