<\/div>\nThe Bunny and Kinetic Sand Sensory Bin is a great addition to the Easter activities<\/a> and sensory bins<\/a> on the site.<\/p>\n A sensory bin is typically a plastic tub or container filled with carefully selected materials and objects to stimulate the senses of children in preschool.<\/p>\n Sensory bins might have Kinetic Sand, water beads, corn, beans, or other types filled with small items.<\/p>\n You have a simple bunny and kinetic sand sensory bin for kids. We used a paper bin to hold the sensory bin items. You have green sand or a color of sand you have and then acrylic bunnies to put in the sensory bin.<\/p>\n This is a small twist on the bunnies and rice sensory bin<\/a> we did.<\/p>\n We have included links to some of the products and resources we have used with this activity. No person doing sensory play looks the same way.<\/p>\n Kids will have fun building and exploring the colors of bunnies and the green kinetic sand. Sensory play is important and yes sensory play is what sensory bins are all about.<\/p>\n And if you only do play in a sensory bin that is okay. And the bunnies in the sand make great impressions while playing.<\/p>\n Since you have six colors of bunnies it is fun to do some color sorting. You can sort the colors in the sensory bin or outside of the sensory bin. <\/p>\n It is fun to see how their minds work while sorting the colors.<\/p>\n You can have fun with this bunny sensory bin and use the sand and bunnies to makes patterns, letters, numbers or shapes.<\/p>\n You can see we did a simple two color pattern with the bunnies. And the bunnies stand up in the sand!<\/p>\n At the end a reminder to just to play in the sensory bin. They are meant to get messed up and not look perfect. And often I don’t give them a perfect set up for the sensory bin. And it love when they mess up the patrs of the sensory bin.<\/p>\n And kinetic sand is so much fun to just build and play.
