It is a simple sensory bin for Veterans Day. It does not take long to put together. It is for sensory play not keeping organized.<\/p>\n You can do a fun sorting activity. You can sort the poppies by size. The set of poppies we got have three sizes of flowers. You can have kids sort them in the sensory bin or outside of the sensory bin. It helps them hold and see the three different sizes.<\/p>\n You can have kids sort the green rocks and poppies in the sensory bin. A great way to work fine motor picking up all the small items in the sensory bin.<\/p>\n And it also works on how the two are different the rocks and flower are. And each has a different mix of shapes for kids to pick up and hold with their fingers.<\/p>\n You can make letters, numbers or shapes with the flower or rocks. You can see we made the letter P with the poppies. You can give kids letter make or let them decide.<\/p>\n You could do the number of the day, or shape they are learning. You can do a letter one day and a shape the next day. Be creative with how you use the parts of the sensory bin.<\/p>\n And always remember to just play in the sensory bin. You can add sensory scoops or tweezers. And then let them just play. And if the part of the sensory bin come out of the bin no big deal.
