A fun way to work on beginning blend words is to change up how to are working on them. The blends words worksheets has tracing, coloring and writing for each of the blend words on the page.<\/p>\n

You have three ways to work on the words to help kids have different types of repetition for learning the blend words or reviewing. You have tracing, coloring and writing.<\/p>\n

A blend is when two or more consonants are blended together, but the letters in blends all make a separate sound.<\/p>\n

Bl would be an example of a consonant blend. So the word blender has the blend of bl.<\/p>\n

You sound out b and l sounds in the word.<\/p>\n

Beginning blend examples are: bl, br, cl, cr, dr, fl, fr, gl, gr, pl, pr, sc, sk, sl, sm, sn, sp, st, sw, tr.<\/p>\n

You can see one of the blends trace color and write worksheets for kids. You have three columns with trace, color and write. Then you have six rows of blends words. The first column is for tracing the word, middle column is for coloring the word, and the last color is for kids to write the word.<\/p>\n
