With all the projects we have done this is one I wanted to be sure and do! It took a while to get to, but here it is: Making Mummies. We did several activities for this but only going to show you what we did most recent! We read the book Mummies Made in Egypt (Reading Rainbow Books)<\/a>\"\". At the end of the book I had them answer questions about what they remembered. Each have some point they really remembered.<\/p>\n

What you need for this project: Mummies Made in Egypt (Reading Rainbow Books)<\/a>\"\", cloth cut in stripes, pom poms, toilet paper, beads, and string.<\/p>\n

We made jewelry for our mummies and placed them on soon to be mummies.<\/p>\n

We wrapped out mummies legs and arms and then put their amulets on them.<\/p>\n

Then they finished wrapping up their mummies.<\/p>\n

Then the girls got a chance to be mummies.<\/p>\n
