There are loads of themes for the fall and one big theme is Thanksgiving. There are many themes in here to work on. You have the thanksgiving feast, the first Thanksgiving, pilgrims and the natives.
Each of these themes is fun to learn with. Plus you have a little history as well. You can have a blast learning with a few of these themes in this free Thanksgiving Themed Pack.
It is great for kids that are in Tot, preschool, PreK, Kindergarten and first grade.
We have included links to some of the products and resources we have used with this activity. If you purchase via the links we may earn a small commission.
This pack was made to go with the following book I Know an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Pie (Picture Puffins) by Alison Jackson. It is a fun book about a lady who eats all of the items from Thanskgiving! We love reading and retelling this story.
This set has a mix of different words. There are picture book stores where it uses Natives or Indians. I have made both options available in this set. Most of the activities use natives in the set.
Things to use with this Thanksgiving Pack

Ways to use pages from the Thanksgiving Pack & Thanksgiving Tot Pack
One of the first pages in most packs is the 3 part cards. They have a flashcard and then another card that has a line to cut the name off of the picture. These are great for matching them up. You place the flashcard and match up the other two cards with it. I recommend printing these on cardstock to help them last longer.

The set has clip cards that work on numbers 1 to 15. You can use clothespins for the clipping but we have used paper clips
as well. If you plan on using them a lot I recommend printing on cardstock
and laminating
.

There are two types of puzzles in this set. You have some 4 piece puzzles and 10 piece puzzles. I love using puzzles for learning. The 10 piece puzzles come in 1 to 10 and 11 to 20.
The 4 piece puzzles also work great for cutting practice.

There are several pages in the set for which one is different. You can pick and choose the theme you want to use.

Another page you have several options on is the What comes next. These are great cut and paste activities with patterns. You will need some glue for this activity.

This set has a fun CVC activity. You have the beginning sounds of items from the 3 part cards that help you build words. It is a fun way to work on CVC words.

I love the color by directions. It works on shapes and colors. you will need crayons for this activity. They read the sentence and then color the sheet. It is loads of fun.

The ABC path is loads of fun to do. You start at A and work your way to Z. We used dot marker on the circles. You can coloring them or use another hands-on items like clear glass gems
to cover the letters.

You are going to find several no-prep math pages that are loads of fun to do. These are great fun to do with kids. There is a fun color by addition page in the set as well.

This set has the three hands-on math pages for addition, subtraction, greater than/less than and counting. These are fun pages you can use over and over. We used the Safari Ltd. Fruits & Vegetables Toob for the objects to count.

The set has pocket chart cards that have matching tracing strips. These are loads of fun to use. You have tracing beginning sounds, tracing the words (see below) and write the word options. We have laminated the tracing word cards and use dry erase markers
on them.

Here are a few pages from the Tot Pack.
There are several fun 2 pieces puzzles in the Tot pack. They are all from the story I Know an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Pie (Picture Puffins) by Alison Jackson

There is also a 9 piece puzzle. You can do this puzzle by itself or you can print two copies and use one as a help.

There is a fun maze or tracing path page for some different fine motor work. You can put the page in a sheet protector and use dry erase markers
to trace the paths.

This set also has the coloring book. The book has several colors for you to color the pumpkin pie! You will need crayons with this activity.
