We have always loved having seasonal themes we use. It has been a blast read books for each theme.
I thought it was time to gather up some of our favorite books that we read for apples. I think it is such a fun theme to explore. You can always add so many different activities with books likes counting, colors, learning words, math and more.
So here is our collection of favorite apple books!

Apples by Gail Gibbons is one of my favorite apple books. We read it every year. I love the information it provides about apples. She always has great non-fiction books.
How Do Apples Grow? is another great non-fiction book about apples. I love having different fact about apples in books.
Ten Apples Up On Top! is a great apple counting book. Kids love to count apples on their heads.
Apples, Apples Everywhere!: Learning About Apple Harvests (Autumn) is a great read about how apples go from the tree to the market. It shows all the steps in between.
The Seasons of Arnold’s Apple Tree is a fun story about a boy and his apple tree. I love how the story progress and you can see all the seasons.
The Apple Pie Tree is another story about following an apple pie tree through the seasons. We love reading this one.
Amelia Bedelia’s First Apple Pie is a fun book. We have always liked the Amelia Bedelia books. And this one is about making a pie and following the directions. I love how it turns out at the end.
Up Up Up! It’s Apple Picking Time is about picking apples and the different types of apples that there are.
Ten Red Apples is about an apple tree that has 10 apples and those on the farm that eat it. You can see how fun it is when everyone on the farm wants an apple.
