Yarn Clover
St. Patrick’s Day is coming really soon and we have been having fun with clovers. We talked about 3 and 4 leave clovers. We read the book Hooray for St. Patrick’s Day! (Lift-the-Flap, Puffin). I like this book because you can look for the leprechaun on every page. It gives you something to do besides just reading the book. I love when you can make a book more interactive.
What you need for this activity: green yarn, glue and Trace the Clover
She put on the glue first all around the clover.
She had lots of fun putting all the yarn on the clover and then trying to keep it in the lines.

A follow up activity we did with this was to put clover stickers on the trace the clover. It was lots of fun to do.

Cute ideas. I always forget about using yarn. Such a great sensory material.
I love using yarn. It is one of my favorite craft materials. Easy to use to many different ways.
