We read G is for Gold Medal: An Olympics Alphabet (Sleeping Bear Press Sports & Hobbies). We read the letter C is for Countries. We talked about the first modern Olympics and compared to how many countries were in 2008 Summer Olympics. We talked about the colors of the United States of America flag.

What do you need: paper plate, black construction paper, paints red white and blue, 3 stars and 1 flag cookie cutters.

The girls stamped their papers. We talked about how the colors mix and look different on black paper than white paper.
