Beach Activity Pack: Prewriting, ABCs, Shapes, & Numbers

The activity packs have been the perfect thing for each season. They have a mix of prewritng, ABCs, shapes, and numbers that all work together in a fun and easy to use pack.

I love that each pack has similar activities to help kids that need the same skill reinforced but don’t always want to look at the same paper over and over.

One thing people have said about these packs is that they are great to have a mix of activities to use with kids at different skill levels. Plus kids love seasonal activities.

This is a great addition to the beach printables on the site.

One of our favorite beach books has always been There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Shell!. I love the series and it has fun themes in it like shells and the beach. It is a fun one to read with this set.

This pack has a collection of activities from easy reader books, no-prep pages, tracing strips, and clip cards. It is made so you have a mix of activities to pick and choose from but all work together on prewriting, ABCs, numbers, and shapes.

Beach Themed Prewriting Printables

The Beach activity pack has three types of prewriting pages. It has thick lines in a pail, thick lines in a pail and prewriting pages. These are all great no-prep pages for kids to work on lines and build up from the thick lines to the thin lines.

The set always has tracing strips. I love these because they are easy to pull out for centers. You print them on cardstock and laminate them. Then you put them on a 1 inch ring and trace the lines with a dry erase marker. Simple and easy to use and great for when you want to use them over and over.

One of the final pre-writing printables in the set is an easy reader book. It has prewriting lines to trace and a simple sentence to read. You can trace the lines with a pencil or crayon the first time and trace with a finger the next time you read the book.

Beach Themed Shape Printables
The beach activities pack has several shapes activities in it. It has the shapes circle, square, triangle, oval, rhombus, rectangle, star, heart, and crescent.

The first one is a big shape tracing pages. These are fun because you can print the shape you are working on. It has shells around the shape to make it fun to trace from shell to shell.

You are going to find shape tracing strips that match up to the shapes in the set. It has a pail with a shape on it and tracing for that shape. You can print these on cardstock and laminate them. It makes is great to use them over and over with dry erase markers. I store them on a 1 inch ringto keep them tracing strips together.

The set has clip cards for the 9 shapes. They have a shape on the shell and shapes to clip and match. I print these on cardstock to help them last longer.

The pack has a shape easy reader book. It is a smaller tracing version of the big pages but in a book format. I love easy reader books and they are fun.

Beach Themed ABC Printables

The no-prep ABC pages are great for working on letters. They have a page with mixed uppercase and lowercase letters and a set with just one letter at a time in uppercase and lower case. This gives you some flexibility when working on the letters.

The ABC Clip cards have two versions. YOu have matching uppercase letters and then you have matching uppercase with lowercase letters. YOu can see the lowercase and uppercase version below.

I print these on cardstock and laminate. Then we use clothespins for the clipping.

The final ABC printable is the tracing strips. These are great for ABC writing practice. They come in three options: uppercase & lowercase, uppercase only, and lowercase only. This allows you to use the tracing strip that you need.

I print them on cardstock and laminate them. Then they make a great center you can use dry erase markers on over and over. I store ours on a 1 inch ring.

Beach Themed Number Printables

The number page work on numbers from 0 to 10. This is a mix of working on learning the number, counting and tracing numbers.

The no-prep page had a number for you to trace and matching girl with shells for kids to color. This is an easy print and use page.

There is also a matching easy reader book to the no-prep pages. I love easy reader books because it makes kids feel special that they got their own book.

There are four different number clip cards in the set. You have matching the number, what number comes next, count and clip, and which has more. These are all great ways to work on numbers and give you options to work on the level that kids need.

The last printable is the number tracing strips. I love tracing strips because they can be made to use over and over. They all have the girl with the shells to count and then three options for tracing. You have number digit and work, number digit only, and number word only.

I print these on cardstock and laminate them. This allows me to use them over and over with dry erase markers. And they all fit great on 1 inch ring for storage.
