Butterfly Activities Pack for Prewriting, Shape, ABCs & Numbers

Spring is a great season and has so many great themes you can work with. We loved the Spring Activities Pack but I wanted another fun spring theme to use.

And butterflies are one of our favorite themes to use. Plus it is one that always gets requests for more activities.

This is another set that has activities for prewriting, ABCs, shapes, and numbers! All of them work towards helping kids learn in a fun way.

This is a great addition to the bug printables on the site.

I made these sets to meet the needs of kids at different levels of learning. It is fun to have everyone trace lines but at the level of learning, they are at.

You are going to find no-prep pages, easy reader books, tracing strips, and clip cards. All the pages have a butterfly theme for spring. Plus the set gives you a full set of matching butterfly activities for prewriting, shapes, numbers, and ABCs!

Ways to use this Butterfly Activity Pack

There are three types of butterfly prewriting pages. You have tracing thin or thick lines in a butterfly. Then there single page tracing sheet with different types of lines. You track the line from the butterfly to the flower. You can give theme crayons or markers to trace the lines.

The set also has butterfly prewriting tracing strips. These are great for working on just one line at a time. You can choose the thick or thin lines to trace. You can print these on cardstock and laminate them. Then up them on rings and trace with dry erase markers. That allows you to use the over and over.

If your kids love easy reader books that butterfly prewriting book is great for that. They can trace the lines in the book with their fingers or use markers. It is a great way to work in fine motor activities.

You have a fun shape page with butterflies that have shapes to trace on their wings. This is a fun fine motor way to work on shapes. Plus they can trace the shapes in whatever color they want.

The butterfly shape tracing strips are great way to work on tracing shaped over and over. You can print them on cardstock and laminate them. This allows you to reuse them over and over with dry erase markers. I put ours on a ring to keep them all together.

The butterfly clip cards make a great review. You can clip the shapes with clothespins but paperclips work just as well. I printed these on cardstock to help them last longer.

If they love books the easy reader book for shapes has a butterfly with shapes on the wings to trace.

There are two no-prep ABC pages. They have a mix of letters or focus on one letter. One page has two letters per page with uppercase and lower case and the second page has a single level with uppercase and lowercase with tracing. They have great circles for using dot marker with!

There is a set of butterfly clip cards. There is matching uppercase with the same uppercase letter. Then you have matching uppercase with lowercase letters. You can see the uppercase and lowercase clip cards below. I recommend printing on cardstock and laminating if you are going to use them often.

There is also a matching set of butterfly alphabet tracing cards. These have uppercase and lowercase together, uppercase only, and lowercase only. This allows for working on the letters and case that you need. You can print them on cardstock and laminate them. This allows you to use the cards over and over with dry erase markers.

You have a great butterfly no-prep page to work on your numbers. The page has a girl with butterflies to count. The numbers go from 0 to 10. Each page has tracing of the numbers at the button.

There is a matching butterfly themed easy reader book and counting chart that we can use as well. The chart has numbers from 0 to 10. The easy reader book has tracing for the number on each page with matching sentences and pictures.

There are butterfly themed number tracing strips that match the no-prep page and easy reader book. They all have a picture of the girl with butterflies matching the number. There are three options for the strips number word and number digit, number digit only and number word only. I have our printed on cardstock and laminated. This make is easy for you to reuse the strips with dry erase markers.

There are four types of clip cards for numbers. You have matching the number, what comes next, count and clip, and which has more. You can see of the clip card types below.
