Over the years something I have learned is that kids just LOVE to say the dinosaur names. Don’t think that they can’t say the long words it is a big mistake. My oldest learned to speak better by saying them!
Today is a fun easy reader book with a dinosaur theme. It is something that will be great for those dinosaur lovers. It is fun to read and color. I know that we have had tons of fun with it! Plus this is a great addition to the Dinosaur Pack on the site.
I like to work different words into these books and a recent sight word we were working on was what and eat. My youngest said had some problems with it when we were working on the words. I thought what would be better than to throw those words into a book that she can read. Plus have her favorite theme of dinosaurs!
The books are really simple. There is a question you read about the dinosaur.
Then you read the answer of the question. Plus you have a picture example of what they eat. Oh and yes the dinosaurs have their LONG names spelled out! That is part of what makes this book fun. Kids learn dinosaur names while reading.
Now is you are worried about the names and kids sounding them out or learning them Royal Baloo has a great dinosaur syllables that work great with the easy reader! One side has the dinosaur and name. Then turn it over and see how to sound it out!
