For this months Virtual Book Club we read The Foggy, Foggy Forest by Nick Sharratt. We loved how the pages looks and how much fun they were.


What you need: baby oil, paper, foam paint brush, and black paint.

They put baby oil on the paper. They each did three sheets. My youngest started the activity and did not want to do the baby oil part. So I did hers. After we got the oil on them I put paper towels between them to dry some of the oil off them. This made the pages semi see through.

Next they painted the fun collection of shadow paintings. Each had unique idea of what they wanted to do.
